WHO WE ARE

Calvin L. Peeler, a Ordained Minister and lay leader understands the challenges Pastors and leaders face within the local church. Offering spiritual support for a diverse population is not easy. Churches can refer to Peeler Counseling with confidence. Calvin L. Peeler provides Christian, faith-based counseling integrated with Spirit-led techniques and founded in biblical wisdom. He believes its time for the church and mental health services to be powerfully entwined. There is a need for churches and counselors to partner together to offer the best possible care.

HOW WE CAN HELP

· Counseling Referral Source: For those times when ministers are approached for counseling someone who may have serious mental health issues that require professional assistance, you can refer in full confidence they will receive sound professional and biblical instruction.
· Counseling services provided with the mindset of: encouraging each other, building each other up in Christ, bearing with one another, carrying each other's burdens, praying for each other, and loving each other as Christ taught. (Ephesians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Galatians 6:2; James 3:17 – 18; James 5:16; John 15:12,13; Colossians 3:12-14).

WHAT WE OFFER MINISTRY MENTORING
· Support for the church in fulfilling its calling to be the primary provider of soul care and a Christian community.
· A quiet restorative place to receive biblical counseling services and insight into life’s challenges.
· Free consultation for pastors. Questions regarding sensitive issues involving staff, leadership or members I invite you to call for a free 20 minute consultation.
· Resources for churches and their staff for the more difficult issues that Christians face but are often challenging to address in the church such as: abuse, sexual trauma, unrelenting depression, couples conflict, infidelity, etc.
· A counseling referral source for church staff who may be in need of professional services. Ministers and their families are not excluded from the stress and challenges of life. Often Ministers and their families are the ones who suffer most from relationship issues, burnout/fatigue, work/life balance and other difficulties, but feel like they have no one they can turn to. Rethread provides a confidential location for personal guidance or online counseling.
· A $10 discount per session for those in full time ministry or ask us about our ministry mentoring packages available upon request.
